Faculty - Architecture (Tenure-Track)

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, student-centered department and contribute to high-quality instruction, curriculum development, assessment, and service to the College. Teach a full load of lower-division architecture courses, which may include design studio, architectural graphics, drafting, digital modeling, architectural history, theory, and related subjects. Provide leadership in the coordination and ongoing development of the Architecture program, including managing program-level assessment initiatives; collaborating with and supporting adjunct faculty; developing, scheduling, and maintaining coherent course offerings and sequences; and strengthening articulation agreements and transfer pathways with four-year architecture and design programs to ensure student success and seamless transfer. Knowledge, skills and other characteristics: • Strong foundation in architectural design principles and practices. Master's degree in Architecture or a closely related field from an accredited institution.Demonstrated ability or potential to teach architecture courses at the community college level.Evidence of strong design, technical, or professional competence in architecture.Commitment to teaching excellence and student-centered learning.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
