General Engineer / Architect – Construction

In conjunction with the primary duty of programming, on a less frequent basis, the General Engineer/Architect: Construction may perform work in the construction management, program/base development, and/or operations and maintenance (O&M) functions. Perform a wide range of engineering duties related to O&M functions to encompass the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of infrastructure facilities and utilities. Relevant experience, including but not limited to a comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques to support complex engineering assignments relating to civil engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical, or architecture). Ability to develop presentations and advocate for program items to the installation facility board and higher reviewing activities. Must be able to develop and submit appropriate forms such as Base Civil Engineer Work Request and the Military Construction Project Data that validate the request requirement(s).
