About the Role Our client is seeking a specialized Healthcare Architectural Designer to contribute to their prominent design practice in Sacramento, California . This role focuses on the design and development of healthcare facilities, requiring a deep understanding of the unique needs and regulations governing this sector. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and project teams to create functional, efficient, and healing environments. Key Responsibilities Design and develop architectural plans and specifications for a range of healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, and medical centers. Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand their operational needs, patient flow requirements, and therapeutic goals. Ensure all healthcare designs comply with stringent industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements such as FGI Guidelines. Develop detailed 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively. Coordinate with specialized consultants, including medical equipment planners and MEP engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions. Conduct site analysis and programming studies for potential healthcare development sites. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. Minimum of 6 years of architectural design experience, with a significant focus on healthcare facility design . Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required; experience with 3D modeling and rendering software is beneficial. Thorough knowledge of healthcare planning principles, departmental adjacencies, and infection control strategies. Understanding of California building codes and healthcare-specific regulations.
