A well-established and growing multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Healthcare Project Architect to join its expanding team. This individual will play a key leadership role in the planning, design, and delivery of complex healthcare projects, serving as a trusted advisor to clients while guiding projects from initial concept through construction completion.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect with significant healthcare design experience and a proven ability to lead project teams, coordinate consultants, manage client relationships, and oversee all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and execution of healthcare projects including hospitals, outpatient clinics, ambulatory care centers, medical office buildings, and healthcare support facilitiesManage client relationships including proposals, presentations, contract administration, and ongoing communicationOversee project delivery from schematic design through construction administrationDirect production of design drawings, construction documents, and project specificationsCoordinate architectural and engineering disciplines to deliver fully integrated project solutionsManage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality control measuresConduct construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, shop drawing reviews, bidding support, and site observationsEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, healthcare regulations, and industry standardsIdentify and resolve constructability issues throughout the design processMentor and develop junior architects and design staffPresent design concepts and technical solutions to clients and stakeholdersMaintain a strong focus on client satisfaction and project success

Qualifications

Healthcare project experienceBachelor of ArchitectureTen (10+) years of experience within the Architecture/Engineering industryMinimum 6 years of experience as a licensed ArchitectActive Architectural Registration requiredStrong background leading healthcare facility projectsProficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office SuiteThorough understanding of building codes, healthcare design requirements, construction methods, and project delivery processesExcellent communication, leadership, and client management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred:

NCARB CertificationLEED Accreditation, Green Globes, or similar sustainability credentialExperience with Enscape, Bluebeam, Lumion, or other visualization toolsExperience mentoring architectural staff and leading multidisciplinary teams
