HSE Coordinator

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world's top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our Building & Construction team in York, PA. The HSE Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the company-wide safety strategy at the local level through the development, implementation and maintenance of all safety policies, procedures and processes for an assigned location. What you'll do: Develop a thorough understanding of the company-wide safety strategy and communicate and ensure adoption of the strategy at the local level. Must be able to work in a collaborative environment. Model Intertek's 10X Energies at all times within the work place, practicing business the right way Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties Must be customer focused and quality driven Ability to travel as business needs dictate Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: Prefer Bachelor's Degree in directly related, Heath, Safety or Environment field.
