**DLZ Corporation** currently seeking an experienced **Hydraulics Project Manager** to lead and deliver complex water resources and hydraulic engineering projects in our **Columbus, OH** office. This role combines project management responsibilities, including client engagement, budget, and schedules, with technical oversight in hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, and water resources infrastructure. You will play a critical role in guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables for municipal, state, and private sector clients. 
 
***Duties & Responsibilities:***

* Lead and manage hydraulic and water resources projects from planning through design and delivery.
* Serve as point of contact for clients; develop and maintain strong client relationships.
* Oversee project budgets, schedules and deliverables to ensure quality, timeliness, and profitability.
* Provide technical leadership in hydraulic modeling (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, 2D/3D modeling tools).
* Review and guide technical analyses for stormwater, floodplain studies, dam and reservoir systems, and water distribution networks.
* Coordinate with municipal, state, and federal agencies for permitting and compliance.
* Mentor and supervise junior engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
* Support business development activities, including proposal writing, presentations, and pursuit strategy.

***Job Qualifications:***

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with emphasis in hydraulics (Master's preferred).
* Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
* 10-15 years of experience in hydraulics and project management.
* Strong understanding of stormwater systems, floodplain management, and municipal water infrastructure.
* Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication skills with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Prior experience in proposal development and business development is strongly preferred.
