Benefits: Competitive salary Location Remote (Candidates must reside in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Massachusetts) Experience Level Senior Level (7 or more years of relevant experience) Role Overview The Infrastructure Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions that align with long-term technology strategy and modernization initiatives. This role partners closely with enterprise architecture, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure solutions are scalable, secure, and resilient. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Architecture & Design Design and develop infrastructure solution architectures aligned with enterprise technology strategyCreate solution diagrams, technical definitions, standards documentation, and architectural artifactsEnsure solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, high availability, and operational resiliencyEnterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy Architect solutions across VMware, networking, public cloud, and private cloud environmentsEvaluate and recommend tools and technologies that improve scalability, efficiency, and performanceSupport long-term infrastructure modernization initiatives and roadmap developmentArchitecture Governance & Standards Review and validate solution designs with enterprise architecture, IT leadership, business stakeholders, and architecture review boardsEnsure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture principlesApply governance frameworks and architectural standards consistently across initiativesCross-Functional Collaboration Partner with business leaders to understand technology requirements, strategies, and operational prioritiesCollaborate with architects and engineering teams during solution ideation, design, and implementationWork with vendors and strategic partners to support enterprise infrastructure initiativesResearch, Optimization & Continuous Improvement Research industry trends and emerging technologies to inform architecture decisionsIdentify opportunities to reduce infrastructure costs and improve operational efficiencyContribute to enterprise architecture processes, governance models, and technology roadmapsRequired Qualifications 7 or more years of experience in infrastructure architecture, enterprise infrastructure engineering, or solution architectureStrong experience with VMware environmentsStrong experience with networking infrastructure and architectureExperience working with public and private cloud platformsExperience creating infrastructure architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and technical documentationStrong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security, and operational resiliencyFamiliarity with governance frameworks and architecture standardsProven ability to collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and executive stakeholdersStrong communication and presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience working in financial services or regulated industriesExperience supporting enterprise modernization initiativesExperience participating in architecture governance or review boardsFamiliarity with Lean Six Sigma principlesUnderstanding of compliance and regulatory environmentsCore Skills & Attributes Strong architectural and systems design mindsetAbility to align technical solutions with business goalsAnalytical and problem-solving capabilitiesEffective stakeholder communication and collaborationAttention to scalability, security, and long-term maintainabilityAbility to operate in a fast-paced, enterprise environment This is a remote position.
