Integration Architect

6-month contract to hire onsite in Reading, PA. No remote

Principal-level candidate with 15+ years of significant experience in integration architecture, with a record of leading architecture across multiple teams or complex platformsStrong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in distributed systemsExtensive experience designing and operating third-party integrations and APIs at production scale; Google Apigee or comparable enterprise API management platformsStrong knowledge of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRP and messaging protocols and technologies such as JMS, AMQP, and MQTTExperience with AWS services and cloud-native integration patternsand strong understanding of Snowflake data warehousing and the needs of operational-to-analytical data integrationWHAT WOULD MAKE THIS HIRE STAND OUTExperience integrating real-time IoT devices and telemetry into SaaS platformsProduction experience with AI or LLM-enabled applications and integrationsFamiliarity with MCP servers and their security, identity, and governance considerationsExperience with infrastructure as code, containers, and KubernetesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead integrations across third-party platforms and internal enterprise systems.Must be capable of owning integration strategy and execution independently.
