Description: An Interface Architect is responsible for the planning and oversight of interface installation at client sites. The Interface Architect coordinates interface design, and implementation activities and provides assistance and guidance in the overall project design and implementation activities. The Interface Architect is responsible for project documentation. The Interface Architect may also supervise a team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Fully meets the requirements and performance standards of a SystemEngineer - FSI , plus the following:

Monitors interface project progress to assess and manage projectrisk and ensure quality assurance.

Provides high level solution functionality and troubleshootingsupport to clients.

Oversees interface projects by assisting and mentoring associatesworking with interfaces.

Demonstrates continuous professional and technicaldevelopment.

Maintains integrity of interface architecture.

Develops and delivers presentations in small and large groupsettings.

Demonstrates task and time management skills.

Communicates, documents, and shares knowledge within and acrossteam(s).

Provides technical mentoring to team members.

Understands dependencies and how individual contributions impactlarger vision picture.

Works in accordance with corporate and organizational securitypolicies and procedures. Understands personal role in safeguarding corporateand client assets. Takes appropriate action to prevent and report anycompromises of security within scope of role.

Follows Cerner policies, upholds professional standards, andperforms work in a manner respectful of others. Recognizes and implements whenpossible Best Practices.

Adheres to applicable client access, PECA, CHIA, clientnotification, and change management policies and procedures.

Takes an active part in driving their career development.

Low number of open interface issues at time of turnover tosupport.

Number of successful Interface solution implementations.

Successful completion of Project Milestones.

Adherence to Consulting Framework or JIRA Processes as defined byproject scope.

Responsible to give back to the community by mentoring, teachingformal classes, creating or updating documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or the equivalent) in CIS, MIS, IS, Comp Sci,Engineering, Business Administration with emphasis in information systems, orrelated field and 5 years progressively more responsible related experience; orMaster's Degree (or the equivalent) in CIS, MIS, IS, Comp Sci, Engineering,Business Administration with emphasis in IS, or related field and 3 yearsrelated experience.

Background in healthcare, sciences, or information systems; withemphasis in information systems, or related field (e.g. statistics,mathematics, physics), and 3 years programming experience.

Multi-solution experience.

Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed.

Must have either SQL or CCL experience

HL7 certification preferred however some experience is a must

Must have either clinical or healthcare experience

Travel-25-50%

US: Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $63.65 per hour; from: $53,000 to $132,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
