Role Description The Interior Designer Level 1 is a full-time, on-site role based in North Canton, OH. This position supports project teams by assisting with interior design concepts, space planning, and the selection of finishes, furniture, and equipment (FF&E) for education, corporate, and recreational projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing drawings and presentations, developing interior design documentation, and coordinating with architects, project managers, and consultants.
The role also involves contributing to construction drawings, helping maintain project standards and timelines, and participating in client meetings and internal design reviews. This position is designed for early-career professionals looking to grow their skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, and materials appropriate for education, corporate, and recreational projects.Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture coordination to support functional layouts and integration with overall building design.Candidates should possess skills in preparing Construction Drawings and related documentation, including plans, elevations, and details under the guidance of senior staff.Candidates should possess strong visual communication abilities, including proficiency in design software and presentation preparation.Additional beneficial qualifications include a degree in Interior Design; attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented studio environment.
