DLR Group is actively seeking talented Intermediate Architectural Designers to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative architectural designs and ensuring high-quality project outcomes. This position can be based in our Texas offices.
Position Summary
As an Intermediate Architectural Designer, you will manage the design and technical development of various projects. Your collaboration with an integrated design team will be crucial in delivering exceptional work while meeting project deadlines and budgets.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop creative technical solutions to design challenges while upholding design excellence.Integrate quality assurance/control measures and company protocols into all project work in close cooperation with Project Managers.Assist in maintaining project timelines and ensuring the timely delivery of project documentation.Plan, design, and coordinate projects of varying complexities.Apply advanced architectural concepts and innovate new techniques to enhance project outcomes.Ensure adherence to BIM standards and oversee quality control procedures throughout the design process.Foster collaboration within the project team, effectively generating and communicating design ideas.Provide technical guidance to junior staff, aligning cost estimates with design objectives.Engage in client presentations, contributing to the overall success of the projects through effective communication.Manage your time and deliverables to align with project schedules and budgets.Required Qualifications:
Strong technical knowledge complemented by excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills.An undergraduate degree in Architecture is required.A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture is essential.Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam, with advanced architectural software skills.Capability in technical design, assessing and recommending solutions that cater to client needs.Application of sustainable design principles and technical skills in producing accurate deliverables.Adept problem-solving, decision-making, and innovative thinking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.A commitment to enhancing your knowledge and skills, alongside contributions to marketing and business development efforts.*To be considered, please submit your current portfolio/work samples in PDF format.*
