IT Architect

Tulane University is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Technology Architect to design, build, and evolve a modern, scalable, and secure research computing ecosystem that supports the University’s diverse and rapidly growing research community. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Direct experience designing or supporting CMMC Level 2 (or equivalent NIST 800-171) compliant environments Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar regulated cloud environments Familiarity with DoD research funding requirements and secure data handling practices Experience building secure research enclaves or regulated computing zones in higher education or federal environments Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, servers, storage, networking, operating systems, virtualization, cloud services, and integrations.
