Provide a short description of the Position: The incumbent will act as the Enterprise Architect for the DOT Transportation Safety Management and Operations (TSMO) Technology Program providing the strategic vision and overarching blueprint for how Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems and capabilities will align with and enable the organization's business strategy. 2.Enterprise-Wide Architecture Development: Create and manage a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework that encompasses business, data, application, and technology domains, with a specific focus on the integration of IT and OT. Establish guiding principles and standards for technology selection, development, and integration across the entire enterprise, ensuring consistency and interoperability between IT and OT. Offer strategic architectural guidance to solution architects, project managers, and development teams to ensure their work contributes to the overall enterprise vision. Provide architectural insights to support strategic decision-making regarding technology investments and initiatives.
