IT Infrastructure Architect

Position Overview Develop enterprise-level infrastructure architecture roadmaps that support business objectives, IT strategy, and digital transformation initiatives.Define standards for compute, storage, network, virtualization, and hybrid cloud platforms, ensuring consistency, scalability, and lifecycle management.Lead modernization initiatives, including automation, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, monitoring/observability, and AIOps capabilities.Technology Leadership Partner with operations, engineering, and security teams to ensure resilient, performant infrastructure services that meet SLAs and compliance requirements.Lead service industrialization efforts, including standardized service catalog patterns, incident and event workflows, guardrails, and operational readiness.Drive process automation across provisioning, monitoring, patching, and lifecycle management.Governance & Compliance Ensure infrastructure architectures adhere to governance frameworks, security policies, and risk management guidelines.Build documentation, architectural standards, and technical guidelines to ensure consistency across teams.Conduct design reviews and provide architectural oversight for major infrastructure initiatives.Collaboration & Leadership 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering or Architecture.Deep expertise in hybrid cloud (Azure), virtualization, Windows/Linux platforms, networking, storage systems, and automation frameworks.Strong background in ITSM, service delivery, and operational workflows (ITIL, incident/event/change management).Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability platforms, telemetry, metrics, logs, and traces.Strong background in virtual services, operating systems (Windows/Linux), storage systems, backup, and archive servicesStrong background in TCP/IP services and network communications protocols and services.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
