Job DescriptionJava Technical Architect Location: Bridgeport, CT Duration: either full time fte or contract til end of Sept ’16 with extension Job Description The candidate will be responsible for providing solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features using Java/JEE technologies. Candidate is expected to have hands-on experience in latest UI framework like ReactJS or AngularJS. S(he) should be a fast learner and ready to adapt as per the situation demands and adept at analysis & de-bugging skills. Key Responsibilities · Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features. · Create solution architecture, make technology choices, clarify technical feasibility, perform user story sizing estimation · Identify and track service dependencies, works with external service providers for service contracts and delivery · Create, drive and complete POCs (Proof of Concepts) to test new ideas and apply emerging technologies · Own development of a few features in every Sprint · Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, risks · Manage and mentor direct reports Qualifications · 10-16 years of programming experience in Java, Java EE/Web-services/Spring/Hibernate technologies · In depth & working experience in front end UI framework – AngularJS or ReactJS · Should have a past experience in integration with of the shelf Rule engine & Workflow engine products.
