Job Captain / Architectural Designer (4-6 Years’ Experience)

From our studio in Venice Beach, we shape custom homes, hospitality spaces, and boutique commercial work across Los Angeles — projects rooted in sustainability and built to last. You'll work under the direction of the Principal and Project Manager / Project Architect, contributing production, coordination, and detailing across all phases — from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration. Produce presentation, design development, permit, and construction document sets under the direction of the Principal and Project Manager / Project Architect.Develop project-specific plans, elevations, sections, details, wall sections, and schedules.Maintain drawing accuracy, coordination, and standards across the project set.Update drawing sets in response to redlines, design revisions, and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and agency officials. We're a Mac studio; daily communication and coordination live in this stack, and comfort here is a baseline expectation — not something to ramp into on the job.Clear, professional written and verbal communication with team members, consultants, and (with support) clients.Strong proficiency in Graphisoft Archicad, or in Revit with willingness and demonstrated capacity to become fully fluent in Archicad.
