About the role: The Job Captain is responsible for leading the documentation and coordination of projects from design development through construction administration. In the first three months you can expect to: • Collaborate on project designs with all members of the firm • Develop familiarity with the firm’s design and documentation standards, software, systems, and processes • Support documentation and BIM coordination for one to three projects at a time • Coordinate detailing and material assemblies • Support zoning and code analysis specific to DC and surrounding jurisdictions • Assist with permit submissions • Join a job in Construction Administration to learn our process • Participate in peer-to-peer knowledge sharing • Help lead projects in Conceptual and Schematic design or M.Arch) • 4+ years of professional architecture experience, including strong production and coordination leadership • Experience leading project teams through documentation phases and coordinating with consultants. Experience with CA is a plus.
