Job Captain/Project Architect (3-4 Years)

Vellum Architecture & Design is seeking an Architectural Designer with 3–4 years of professional experience to join our Asheville-based studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys modern residential design but also understands that successful projects are built through strong documentation, technical problem solving, and reliable execution. Develop and manage BIM models through multiple project phasesProduce construction documents with clarity and technical rigorImplement redlines accurately and efficientlyAssist in developing and detailing creative but buildable solutionsTake ownership of assigned project tasks from start to completionEstimate time required to complete work and consistently meet schedule and quality expectationsSupport coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal team membersContribute to maintaining organized, accurate project documentation 3–4 years of professional experience in an architectural practiceStrong experience working on modern residential projectsProfessional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) Vellum is a boutique architecture studio focused on modern residential work and select small-scale hospitality and commercial projects.
