About the Role

We're seeking a Junior Architect / Designer-Draftsperson to join our practice full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated architectural professional who enjoys hands-on involvement across the full project lifecycle from early design concepts through construction documentation. You'll work closely with our senior staff on a variety of project types, contributing directly to design development and technical execution. Experience in large hospitality projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop architectural designs and construction documents under the guidance of senior architects
Produce accurate, detailed drawings and models using REVIT
Assist with project coordination across design, engineering, and construction phases
Participate in client meetings and design discussions as needed
Ensure documentation meets applicable codes, standards, and firm quality expectations
Manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously with strong organization and follow-through

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional architecture experience
Proficiency in REVIT required
Demonstrated experience with design development and construction document preparation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
A strong drive for quality and design excellence
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture preferred
Candidates based in or near the Hudson Valley strongly preferred, as this is an in-office position
