Junior Architecture Designer

In your role, you will engage deeply in the design process, creating building designs and drawings through freehand sketches and using advanced design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborating with experienced designers, you'll explore scaling, modeling, and constructing exceptional work for our clients globally. Key qualifications include:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs We also seek candidates who:

Are an active candidate for NCARB's AXP Program Hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 Possess strong architectural design and graphic skills Can work collaboratively with a team as well as independently Have knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and Photoshop, and/or proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite Have experience with performance modeling software like Ladybug, Honeybee, Energy Plus, and WUFI Are familiar with rendering software, such as V-Ray, Enscape, and Bluebeam Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Possess a relevant internship or professional experience in your field Can effectively communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills Have a portfolio showcasing recent design work At Jacobs, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every individual is valued.
