Landscape Architect

The RGS Landscape Architect is responsible for planning and designing a wide range of outdoor spaces and site development plans. They combine artistic and technical skills to ensure aesthetically pleasing and functional design solutions. Responsibilities Research, review, and interpret local Zoning, Subdivision & Land Development ordinances Perform site layout, grading, and road design within AutoCAD C3D (or the ability to oversee this aspect with a drafter/designer) Understanding of utility layout, profiling, and detailing for gravity sanitary sewer and water systems Prepare planting plans Prepare compelling presentation graphics/ renderings Prepare lighting design Material and site furniture selections Understanding of stormwater conveyance design, detailing, and computations Understanding of erosion and sediment control facility design, detailing, and computations Prepare opinions of probable cost Provide construction phase services including oversight during construction of site related features and planting plans, shop drawing review, RFI responses, CSK preparation, etc. This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employees.
