What You’ll DoCreate conceptual designs, graphics, and visual studiesDevelop construction documents (plans, details, redlines) using AutoCADStay involved across multiple project phases, from concept to CDsCoordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other consultantsParticipate in client communication as your experience allowsContribute to design narratives and proposalsWork closely with a small, collaborative landscape teamThe WorkProjects span a wide range of scales and environments, including:

Public and civic spaces (streetscapes, transit‑adjacent, infrastructure)Institutional and educational projectsSelect private and design‑intensive workYou’ll move between large, complex sites and smaller, detail‑driven projects — flexibility matters.

What We’re Looking ForThis role is best suited for someone who:

Has 3–7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or designIs design‑strong, but comfortable producing CDsCan take ownership, ask questions, and keep work movingWants to grow into greater responsibility over timeValues collaboration, clarity, and follow‑through

Required SkillsAutoCAD (real construction documentation experience — not just exposure)Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Strong design fundamentalsExperience contributing to construction documentationA portfolio that clearly shows your personal contribution and built or detailed workA portfolio is required for consideration. Resumes without portfolios will not advance.

Nice‑to‑HaveRhino, Lumion, SketchUp, or other visualization toolsBackground in high‑end residential, hospitality, civic, or urban projectsExperience coordinating with consultantsStrong writing or narrative skills for proposalsRevit may be used on some projects, but it is not required and not a disqualifier.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $48.00/hr.
