Landscape Architect

Job Duties will include:Master planning through detailed design activities as both a project manager and project contributor.Mentoring and technical oversight of junior and mid-level staff.Business development activities including but not limited to networking, preparation of proposals, interviewing, and negotiating fees.Preparation/review of deliverables including reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans and specifications.Miscellaneous tasks as required to assist the project team.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's in landscape architecture from an accredited University or College.5+ years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect including experience with planning and design of communities, parks, streetscapes, and other similar project types.Registration as a Landscape Architect is required.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to lead presentations in both public and private settings. Travel may be planned or on an immediate basis and the candidate will need to be flexible in meeting project deadlines.Land and site planning design experience highly preferredMust submit a portfolio that accurately represents experience and understanding of the design process to include built projects photos, presentation graphics and other design materials that represent skill set.
