Landscape Designer

Hermann Design Group, Inc. (HDG) is seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Designer with five or more years of professional experience to join our collaborative team in either our Palm Desert or Riverside office. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of public and private projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, team-oriented environment.At HDG, designers play an integral role throughout the project lifecycle - from early concept development through construction documentation and implementation.About Hermann Design GroupPublic parks and recreation facilitiesSports complexes and civic spacesStreetscapes and community infrastructureSchool and institutional campusesMunicipal and public agency projectsSelect private development projectsKey Responsibilities Collaborate with project managers and design teams on a variety of landscape architecture projectsAssist in all phases of design including site analysis, conceptual design, and construction documentationPrepare presentation graphics and visualizationsCoordinate with consultants and internal team membersProduce high-quality plans, details, and graphic materialsManage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlinesRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited programMinimum 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or landscape designStrong proficiency in AutoCADWorking knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketch UpStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyEffective time management and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Lumion or other rendering softwareExperience with public agency or municipal projectsExperience preparing construction documentationExperience with public agency standards, specifications, and consultant coordinationFamiliarity with California public agency plan preparation and submittal requirementsProgress toward or interest in Landscape Architecture licensure#J-18808-Ljbffr
