We hire experienced professionals for roles in landscape maintenance, enhancements, snow operations, and field leadership and we are looking for an Landscaping Architecture intern to join our team.

PAY RANGE:

$25/hour

SHIFT & LOCATION:

This is Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Up to 25% travel within the Riverview service area (depending on location likely driving to a new acquisition branch to support training and integration). Travel expenses covered by company.

Candidates must reside within the Riverview Landscapes service area including NY, NJ, CT & MA and be willing to work a hybrid schedule with a typical week: 3 days in a branch office, 2 days work from home.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Landscaping Architecture intern supports Riverview Landscapes’ acquisition growth by coordinating with internal partners and branches on all things related to concept development, site planning and conducting research.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in concept development, site planning, and design detailing
Support production of presentation graphics and construction documents
Participate in design charrettes and internal project reviews
Conduct site research, material studies, and precedent analysis
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants
Gain exposure to client meetings and project workflows
You'll be treated as an integral part of the design team, not just an observer

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Current student pursuing a degree related to the landscaping industry (Horticulture, Landscaping design, etc.)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
