Lead Application Architect

Providing senior-level technical leadership, the full-time Lead Application Architect will oversee architecture and application modernization initiatives for the Decennial Transformation and Application Modernization (DTAM) program, working in a hybrid environment with on-site visits as required. Key responsibilities Direct and manage architecture and application modernization activities, ensuring alignment with DTAM program objectives Guide full lifecycle development processes, including design, integration, testing, and deployment of systems Interface with client stakeholders and senior government leadership to present technical strategies and support negotiations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field 15+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, or systems architecture Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technical programs or enterprise modernization efforts Experience managing technical teams and interfacing with clients at the executive level Proven ability to make enterprise-level architectural and technical decisions
