Role Overview: As a Lead Architect at Verint, you will shape the technical roadmap and guide all facets of platform and application development. Depending on your specialization, you will lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of various cloud-based products and solutions, providing deep expertise for customer implementation and cloud platform support. Expect to dive into coding to support and bootstrap teams while collaborating with a global team of engineers to develop robust solutions tailored to our business objectives through continuous integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead cloud-native architecture initiatives and promote best practices in software development. Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, leveraging your broad expertise. Oversee the technical architecture, design, and development of multiple product lines. Advance continuous integration and delivery using test-driven development methodologies. Clearly communicate architectural designs to various audiences. Stay informed on new and emerging technologies. Apply service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Microservices principles to create scalable cloud services. Ensure compliance with architectural vision and product goals throughout team efforts. Mentor senior engineers on best practices, design patterns, and technical decision-making. Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to transform business needs into technical architecture and engineering roadmaps. Establish and enforce API strategies, standards, and contracts across services and product lines. Evaluate and recommend third-party tools and technologies for product and infrastructure needs. Promote security practices, including threat modeling and secure coding. Manage technical debt strategies to prioritize reduction efforts across platforms. Plan for capacity and performance engineering, setting scalability targets and performance budgets for cloud services. Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation including Architectural Decision Records, design RFCs, and system diagrams. Contribute to cloud cost optimization through informed architectural decisions. Participate in high-priority production incident calls and customer escalations, offering architectural guidance during incident triage and root cause analysis. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in software design and development, with a focus on architecture or technical leadership in complex enterprise SaaS products. 5+ years of experience with cloud-native architecture and data pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.). 5+ years working with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB, etc.). Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools like Datadog. 5+ years leading full-stack development efforts, including backend services, APIs, and frontend applications for scalable SaaS products. Hands-on development experience with Java and/or NodeJS for backend services and APIs. 5+ years designing modern frontend applications using ReactJS, focusing on architecture and user experience. 4+ years experience with enterprise system integration using APIs and data synchronization. Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure. 4+ years designing data models for analytics and operational workflows. 4+ years creating architecture standards and documenting technical decisions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting skills addressing process, technology, software builds, and releases. Experience with source code control and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.). Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to varied audiences. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with enterprise workforce management systems. Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native architectures. Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices and applied machine learning concepts.
