Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this position is nationwide and reflects the broad salary range for this role across the country. Your actual salary will be determined by several factors, including the role's complexity and scope, your skills, education, certifications, and experience.

Salary Range

$169,400.00 - $279,600.00

As a Lead Architect within AI and Emerging Technology Architecture, you will collaborate with senior technology and business leaders to develop AI systems that provide substantial business value while adhering to ethical standards. In this role, you will:

Leverage your expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems to architect scalable, production-ready solutions. Consult and provide insights to division and domain architects, ensuring alignment across business lines and promoting enterprise-level AI solutions architecture. Align AI platform capabilities with strategic business needs, enhancing reusability, interoperability, and responsible AI practices. Establish governance frameworks that ensure safe and compliant AI deployments, grounded in sound ethical principles. Monitor and communicate the evolving AI platform roadmap, identifying opportunities and challenges that align with enterprise goals. Employ strong communication and mentoring skills to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing. What Will You Do?

Scope: Manage architecture for various technology and business segments within a business unit. Technical Execution: Lead technology proof of concepts, identify opportunities for technological advancements, and drive continuous transformation to reduce technical debt. Strategic Accountability: Provide thought leadership in modern architecture principles, develop architecture priorities in collaboration with senior leadership, and communicate architectural direction effectively. Conduct hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions and partner with technology and business leaders for alignment on technology execution. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent with 8 to 10 years of architecture experience. Hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies and complex, large-scale strategy execution. Advanced leadership skills to build credibility and collaborate across functions, tackling architectural challenges and enhancing team knowledge-sharing. Extensive experience working in an agile operational model with a strong understanding of value creation and business capability models. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in developing scalable AI systems, including knowledge of MLOps practices and cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure, or GCP).
