Lead Architect - Clinical Program

Define and execute architectural strategies aligned with project objectives.Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas.Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practicesMentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, data engineers, IT teams, and management, to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams.Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Assess new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption where applicable.Architecture and design reviews: Play a key leadership role in architecture design reviews and identify gaps and recommend design changes. 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect)Strong experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks (Angular/JavaScript).Strong experience in understanding non-functional requirements (SLA, response time, real time, near real time, multi-threading) and ability to create designs that meet the non-functional requirements.5+ years of full stack development experience5+ years of SQL, NoSQL, Redis and any relevant database experience5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices, and API design.Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git) and Kafka.Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, especially Generative AI and LLMs.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.Preferred Qualifications This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
