As a Lead Architect, you will steer the direction of our most intricate multifamily housing projects, co-leading or leading to ensure their successful execution. Achieve or surpass profit goals and business development targets.Utilize our front-end alignment process to define, assess, and align project scope, resources, and compensation before issuing proposals.Contribute significantly to proposal writing and interviews, fostering client loyalty to generate repeat business and referrals.Create and sustain a workplan that ensures alignment with project goals and timelines, while holding team members accountable for their tasks and milestones.Guide clients through decision-making and the design process to ensure their vision is realized.Deliver high-quality documents that meet JLG standards and industry regulations while achieving a QA rating of 4 & CO.Ensure that project documents are coordinated and fulfill programmatic and goal outcomes.Perform any other duties as assigned.Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in multifamily housing projects.10 years of experience in business, architecture, or project management.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.Proven track record of achieving project goals, budgets, and timelines for projects with a construction budget of at least $30M.Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong verbal, graphic, and written communication abilities.Demonstrated negotiation skills, confidence in handling difficult conversations, and proficiency in public speaking and presentations.Deep understanding of architectural business and construction processes to effectively budget, plan, and execute projects.Advanced familiarity with building codes, construction science, and project methodologies.Preferred Qualifications Current architectural licensure.Proven community involvement with the ability to develop brand recognition and client relationships to win projects.Proficiency in Revit.Successful history of achieving project goals, budgets, and schedules for projects with a construction budget of at least $50M.JLG is an equal opportunity employer.
