Lead Architectural Designer

You will be responsible for leading design teams, mentoring junior architects, and ensuring the highest standards of design excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include developing conceptual designs, creating detailed architectural drawings and specifications, and coordinating with engineers and consultants to ensure integrated project delivery. You will also play a crucial role in client presentations, articulating design intent and responding to feedback. This position requires a deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methodologies. You will be expected to manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Leading design critiques, fostering innovation within the design process, and staying abreast of emerging trends in architecture and sustainable design are integral to this role. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is mandatory. Professional licensure (RA) and NCARB certification are strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive architectural design experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity, is required. Expertise in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Exceptional graphic and presentation skills, along with superior communication and interpersonal abilities, are necessary to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and contractors.
