Lead Data Center Architect

As a key player at SSOE, you will not only design buildings but also shape the infrastructure driving the digital economy. We are seeking a Lead Data Center Architect to spearhead our most technologically advanced data center projects. As a frontrunner in industry AI adoption, we empower our team to work smarter by providing access to leading AI tools and platforms. Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program required.Licensed Architect with the ability to obtain necessary state registrations.A minimum of twelve years of professional experience, with most specializing in mission-critical data center design.In-depth understanding of scalable data center design principles.Thorough grasp of relevant codes and standards.Strong communication skills to interface effectively with clients and teams.Experience in mentoring junior architects and promoting professional development.Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually based on location, education, and relevant experience. Direct experience in hyperscale or colocation data center facilities.Experience in delivering LEED-certified projects and knowledge of sustainable materials.Background in commissioning and startup phases of critical facility projects.Aware of project cost management and delivery imperatives.
