As a Lead Enterprise Architect in our Commercial IT team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Cengage's Salesforce-focused CRM ecosystem. This position is essential for providing architectural leadership for our sales, service, marketing, customer engagement, and commercial operations capabilities. With Salesforce as the cornerstone of our technology, your goal will be to create a unified enterprise CRM framework instead of isolated solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Define and evolve the target-state architecture for the Commercial IT and CRM capabilities centered on Salesforce.Translate business objectives into scalable CRM architecture patterns and integration strategies.Mentor various architecture layers across Salesforce-related sales, service, and marketing functions.Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering leaders, and solution architects to align product decisions with the long-term vision of Commercial IT architecture.Oversee the architectural integration between Salesforce and adjacent systems like ERP, commerce platforms, and analytics.Establish principles and reusable patterns for CRM architecture to promote efficiency and reduce technical debt.Effectively communicate complex architectural options and trade-offs to varied audiences including business and technology leaders.What We’re Looking For:

Significant experience in enterprise or solution architecture, especially in CRM and commercial operations.Deep familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and its integration capabilities.Strong understanding of commercial business processes.Proven ability to align business strategies with scalable architectural decisions.Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.Knowledge of AI-driven CRM strategies and analytics is a plus.Qualifications:
