Lead Information Architect

As a visionary strategist, the remote Lead Information Architect will define and evolve the enterprise ontology and semantic layer, translating business intent into a unified information architecture to enhance AI-driven solutions. Key responsibilities Define and maintain the enterprise ontology, taxonomy, and semantic frameworks for AI solutions Design knowledge graph relationships to connect agreements, parties, processes, and data across the business Implement governance processes for semantic assets, ensuring documentation, versioning, and review workflows are in place Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field 12+ years of experience in taxonomy, ontology, and enterprise information architecture Experience operationalizing information architecture models into production systems Proficiency with semantic modeling tools and metadata management platforms such as Semaphore or PoolParty Experience establishing governance practices for semantic assets
