The primary responsibility of the Storage and Data Protection Engineer is to provide Storage and Data Protection design consulting services and be the driver behind the storage standards for the Secure Area IT organization. Essential Functions: SME for the Secure Area IT team in the areas of Data Protection and Storage Provide Storage and Data Protection design support for secure area environments projects and programs Establish, document and maintain configuration and security standards per ICD 503 (RMF) for the use and configuration of Storage Networks, NAS, Hyperconverged platforms and Data Protection (Data Backup and Archive). 10+ years' experience in Storage Administration and Data Protection managing an enterprise class environment, preferably in a classified environment.
