The Lead Principal Architect is a pivotal senior leadership position that combines direct delivery with high-level strategic insights. This role is essential for ensuring that solutions are not just expertly designed but are also effectively implemented to deliver real value within client environments.
As a trusted advisor, you will oversee the complete solution lifecycle from pre-sales through to implementation, driving excellence and tangible business outcomes for clients.
Client Leadership & Solution Strategy
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring that technical solutions align with their business goals and long-term vision. Lead the design of complex solutions for large-scale enterprise projects across various clients and industries. Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and technical strategic directions. Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients, addressing escalations and challenges. Pre-Sales & Solution Development
Lead technical pre-sales initiatives, including discovery sessions, solution framing, and responses to proposals. Manage scoping, estimation, and cost modeling for significant and intricate opportunities. Review technical proposals to ensure they meet integrity, feasibility, risk management, and compliance with standards. Deliver compelling technical presentations customized for different stakeholder audiences. Delivery & Implementation Oversight
Oversee the transition from pre-sales to implementation, ensuring a seamless execution. Provide leadership and guidance throughout the implementation process. Ensure solutions are scalable, optimized, and provide measurable benefits to clients. Drive successful adoption and realization of the solutions within client environments. Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Develop and disseminate technical best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets. Serve as a domain expert within specific industries or solution areas. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes. Identify and advocate for process improvements that enhance client outcomes and profitability. Collaboration & Mentorship
Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to influence product direction and innovations. Mentor and guide less experienced architects and team members. Promote alignment across functions and advocate for best practices throughout the organization. Core Competencies
Extensive expertise in enterprise solution architecture and design for complex systems. Strong understanding of identity resolution, including deterministic and probabilistic matching. Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. Knowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to large-scale data processing and analytics. Experience designing real-time data architectures and Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360). Business acumen to effectively communicate the technical value to non-technical stakeholders. Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and leadership abilities. Qualifications (Required)
10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales and solution implementation. 10+ years in client-facing roles with executive-level engagement. 5+ years' experience in data-driven marketing environments (database, direct, or digital marketing). Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with non-cloud to cloud migration strategies. Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms. Working knowledge of clean room technologies. Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360). Familiarity with real-time data processing architectures. Understanding of AI/ML-enabled analytics solutions. Primary Location City/State:
