Lead Project Architect

Join our dynamic Buildings & Infrastructure team as a Lead Project Architect. In this exciting role, you will spearhead architectural design and technical delivery on a variety of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative, sustainable, and client-centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architectural design and documentation efforts from initial concept to construction administration. Act as Project Architect for sophisticated building projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to codes, standards, and client requirements. Facilitate coordination across various disciplines (engineering, planning, interiors) to produce integrated solutions. Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting technical growth and design excellence. Oversee project deliverables, timelines, and quality control processes. Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to clarify project objectives and ensure satisfaction. Contribute to project proposals, design presentations, and business development initiatives. Manage construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Licensed Architect (RA) required (Texas licensure or ability to obtain reciprocity). A minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, with leadership roles on complex projects. Robust knowledge of building systems, construction detailing, and compliance with relevant codes. Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows. Experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project deliverables. Exceptional communication, leadership, and client management capabilities. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in civic, healthcare, science & technology, commercial, or higher education sectors. Familiarity with sustainable design principles; LEED accreditation is a plus. Experience working in large, matrixed, or global organizations. Aptitude for contributing to business development and client growth strategies.
