Our mission is to help enterprises manage risk, control costs, and scale effectively in a data and AI-driven world. With over 1,500 global customers, we are a leading contributor to the PostgreSQL community, delivering innovative solutions that modernize legacy systems and eliminate data silos. EDB offers confidence with up to 99.999% availability along with essential mission-critical features like security, compliance, and observability.

Your Impact

The ideal candidate will be a systems-focused engineer skilled in managing complex, full-stack environments. You will oversee the technical execution of the EDB Postgres AI platform, integrating it with both hardware and Kubernetes in various on-premises and cloud settings. Your role will involve coordinating efforts across multiple EDB teams to successfully deliver critical projects tailored to our strategic customers.

You will design and develop data platform solutions that utilize the EDB Postgres AI Sovereign Data and AI Factory (SDAF). Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless integration between hardware infrastructure and our innovative data platform, optimizing it for specific use cases like secure AI inferencing and large-scale data management.

Your Responsibilities:

Create data platform architectures that harness the capabilities of the EDB Postgres AI platform and partner technologies to achieve customer objectives. Perform hands-on system installations, including setting up the OS and EDB software stack on Dell PowerEdge servers. Benchmark key features to facilitate rapid deployment across customer environments, ensuring reliability with a high availability goal of 99.999%. Execute complex database and application migration processes quickly while collaborating with Product, Engineering, CX, and Operations teams for smooth execution. Manage technical resources to deliver a cohesive solution and maintain a unified technical voice for customers. Develop and validate AI and agentic Proof of Concepts (POCs) focused on data innovation, using AI Factory and vector engines for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications. Design architectures, automate processes, and establish AI workflows that increase operational efficiency and enable reuse across multiple accounts and organizations. Accelerate customer value by developing and implementing infrastructure automation to prepare platforms in weeks instead of months. Qualifications:
