Lead Solution Architect

The Lead Solution Architect plays a critical role in collaborating with other Solution Architects to ensure the seamless design and implementation of solutions for our clients. This position includes overseeing technical aspects from design through to production transition. You will also contribute to new business opportunities through pre-sales support and architecture design initiatives. As a technical leader, your communication with clients will ensure their needs align with both their business strategies and our company's technical vision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Engage in projects for existing Acxiom clients or new business opportunities that require ongoing solution consulting and enhancement management.

Conduct impact assessments across solutions and components to ensure design and business requirements are met while aligning with both Acxiom's and the client's overall solution vision.

Maintain the integrity of large and complex solutions, guiding other Solution Architects in technology and design selections.

Utilize a consultative approach in project communications with clients, addressing potential obstacles and offering solution options that enhance client satisfaction while meeting corporate goals.

Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into logical process flows, researching cost-effective, compatible, and user-friendly solutions that meet functional and technical specifications.

Develop and sustain a roadmap for future enhancements of client solutions, embedding technical changes and tracking adherence to Acxiom standards wherever possible.

Provide insight on technical and business requirements along with the overall project plan as it pertains to the solution. Participate in risk mitigation assessments to ensure that proposed designs can consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Maintain expertise in Acxiom technologies and industry trends to effectively align client business needs with our offerings. Share best practices and case studies to drive improvement.

Establish and promote adherence to Acxiom solution standards, utilizing best practices for consistency across designated teams and familiarizing yourself with project management and development methodologies.

Identify processes that can be improved for increased client value and profitability while fostering a collaborative mindset within the team.

Consult with management and stakeholders, communicating technical details at appropriate levels for different audiences and integrating lessons learned into our standards and protocols.

Build strong internal relationships with product teams to provide feedback that enhances our offerings in accordance with evolving business needs.

Stay updated on Acxiom and industry trends, products, services, and technologies to inform strategic decisions.

Demonstrate knowledge of the pre-sales process, leading efforts in scoping and estimation for new projects.

KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES:

Possess comprehensive knowledge of clients' and Acxiom's technical and business environments related to end-to-end solutions.

Deep understanding of Acxiom's Delivery Methodology Design and project management processes.

Familiarity with organizational structure and culture, as well as Acxiom's core products and services.

Capable of performing design creation, elicitation, and planning.

Exhibit leadership qualities and contribute effectively within team settings on major projects.

Work autonomously on complex solutions while engaging with high-level client stakeholders.

Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout solution enhancements and issue management.

Clearly communicate intricate concepts in a high-level, business-focused manner, simplifying technical solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in technical roles, including a minimum of 3 years in an architect position.

Experience with database marketing, direct marketing, or interactive marketing environments for at least 5 years.

A background in external client-facing environments for a minimum of 5 years.

What sets you apart:

Skills in managing data using Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.

Proficiency in serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway) and containerization (ECS, EKS).

Experience implementing security measures, managing roles, policies, and secret management using IAM and Key Management Service.

Ability to mentor team members on technical decisions.

Oversight of web solution architecture with an understanding of cloud-based systems.

Bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, displaying strong judgment and decision-making as necessary.

Proficient in developing cloud-native applications and serverless applications (Lambda, API Gateway).

Experience with integrating AWS services, managing REST APIs, utilizing databases (SQL), and utilizing version control (Git).

Programming abilities in languages such as Python, Java, and Node.js, with experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Experience debugging and monitoring applications (e.g., using CloudWatch).

Knowledge in designing cloud architectures leveraging Amazon Web Services, planning for high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance.

Ability to optimize performance while managing costs, ensuring security best practices are upheld.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.

Preferably possessing an AWS certification (Associate or Solutions Architect).

This position is home-based, located in Conway, Arkansas.
