Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the structural design strategy for complex architectural projects from concept through completion. Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to translate design visions into reality, ensuring constructability and adherence to building codes. Develop and refine innovative structural solutions that push the boundaries of architectural design and material application. Lead and mentor a team of structural designers and architects, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence. Conduct rigorous structural analysis, simulations, and performance testing to validate design integrity. Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Manage project budgets and timelines related to structural design and engineering phases. Stay current with emerging technologies, materials, and sustainable design practices in architecture and structural engineering. Present design proposals and technical findings to clients, stakeholders, and review boards. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Architecture or Structural Engineering. A professional license (RA/PE) is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior role focused on structural design. Demonstrated portfolio of significant, complex architectural projects with innovative structural components. Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure) and advanced BIM platforms. Deep knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and building codes (IBC, ASCE). Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines. A strong aesthetic sensibility combined with rigorous technical proficiency. Experience in sustainable design principles and their integration into structural frameworks. Ability to think critically and solve complex design challenges creatively.
