Lead Technical Architect - Salesforce Platform

As our Lead Technical Architect, Salesforce Platform on the Salesforce team, you'll provide hands-on technical leadership and architecture direction for Marsh McLennan Agency's Salesforce ecosystem. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: Significant experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Lead Salesforce Architect in a complex enterprise environment.Strong hands-on knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce platform architecture.Experience translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions across configuration, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, data model, security, reporting, and integrations.Demonstrated ability to define and govern Salesforce architecture standards, design patterns, naming conventions, release standards, and documentation expectations.Experience guiding Salesforce administrators, developers, consultants, vendors, and distributed delivery teams.Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing model, profiles, permission sets, roles, data quality, and platform performance considerations.Experience designing integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, or integration platforms such as MuleSoft.Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, environment management, release management, deployment tools, and change control processes.Ability to review technical designs, challenge solution approaches, and ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with platform standards.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs in business terms.Experience partnering with delivery leads, product owners, business analysts, and QA/UAT stakeholders to support predictable solution delivery.Ability to identify technical debt, assess platform risk, and help prioritize modernization activities. The applicable base salary range for this role is $124,700 to $218,200. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
