Lecturer - Space Architecture

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Houston (UH) invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position to support the Space Architecture Graduate Program, beginning in the 2026 to 2027 academic year. The department is actively expanding its aerospace and space systems footprint, leveraging its proximity to NASA Johnson Space Center, strong partnerships with the regional aerospace industry, and leading a NASA-funded research center focused on space systems and infrastructure. Candidates with a Master’s Degree and significant, relevant industry or government experience in space architecture, aerospace, space systems, or related areas will also be considered. Preferred Qualifications Include Experience with aerospace or space systems design instruction Experience with project-based or studio-based teaching environments Relevant professional or industry experience in space or aerospace sectors
