PDMS Design Group, Inc., a well-established Architecture and MEP Engineering firm based in Arlington, Texas, is seeking an experienced Licensed Architect to join our growing team.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong commitment to quality, client service, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects from design through construction administration and be comfortable working across multiple project types and jurisdictions.

California architectural licensure is required. Licensure in multiple states is a strong plus.

ResponsibilitiesProduce and oversee architectural construction documents in AutoCAD and RevitManage multiple projects, schedules, deadlines, and deliverablesReview architectural drawings for accuracy, coordination, code compliance, and quality controlReview and respond to submittals and RFIsCoordinate with clients, internal Architecture and MEP teams, consultants, landlords, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholdersHelp maintain and improve quality control standards across the Architecture teamAssist with the training, mentoring, and development of the Design teamResearch and interpret applicable building codes and jurisdictional requirementsMaintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendorsHelp ensure projects meet client expectations, schedules, and internal standardsSome overtime may be required based on project workload and deadlines
QualificationsRegistered Architect with active NCARB certificationMinimum of 5 years of experience as a registered ArchitectCalifornia architectural license requiredActive architectural licenses in multiple states are a strong plusExperience producing and reviewing architectural construction documents for industrial, light commercial, and/or retail projectsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and RevitExperience with BIM coordination and managementProficiency with Microsoft Office productsExperience reviewing submittals and RFIsStrong understanding of building codes, construction documents, and project coordinationAbility to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
