Licensed Architect / Project Manager (Commercial / Retail Design)

Jencen Architecture is an award-winning full-service design studio serving retail and commercial clients. The Licensed Architect / Project Manager will manage commercial and retail design projects across conceptual planning, construction documentation, permitting, construction administration, and coordination with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all project aspects from preparing conceptual plans, construction documents, and teaming with other Jencen staff on projectsConstruction administration, including permit process, shop drawings reviews, contractor RFIs and submissions, and field visitsCoordination with Jencen staff, clients, landlords/developers, working with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
Skills

Licensed Architect with minimum five years' experience on commercial projects for new construction and remodel of existing buildingsBachelor or Master of Architecture degree requiredProficiency in AutoCAD (a must), REVIT, SketchUp, other modeling software, and Adobe Creative SuiteLive within commutable distance to Jencen's Cleveland, OH office - our office works a hybrid schedule, with three days in the office and two remote
