Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Registered Architect to join our growing team in the Greater St. Louis area. This individual will play a key role in drafting, designing, coordinating, and supporting architectural projects from planning through execution.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically strong in both REVIT and AutoCAD, and comfortable managing aspects of projects independently while collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and design architectural plans using REVIT and AutoCADDevelop construction documents, layouts, elevations, and technical drawingsCoordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholdersAssist with project planning, scheduling, and overall project management activitiesReview drawings and specifications for accuracy and code complianceParticipate in client meetings and project discussions as neededSupport projects through permitting, revisions, and construction administration phases

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered ArchitectActive architectural registration/license in at least one U.S. stateStrong proficiency in REVIT and AutoCADAbility to independently draft and produce project documentsPrior project management or project coordination experienceStrong understanding of construction documents, permitting, and building codesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Experience

Commercial, multifamily, healthcare, or mixed-use project experienceExperience coordinating with multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of BIM workflows and construction administration processesCompany DescriptionNova Group, Inc. is a small architecture firm employing 6 people currently. (2) project architects, (2) architects in training, (1) draftman, and (1) secretary. Architectural services and work experience is primarily commercial architecture consisting of retail, fast food, convenience stores, grocery stores, doctors offices, business and vocational education above K-12, commercial multi-family residential and single family residential.
