Michael Hsu Office of Architecture is an award-winning, fully integrated architecture and interior design practice with offices in Austin and Houston. Our work is rooted in hospitality and placemaking and includes diverse projects that range from large mixed‑use developments, adaptive reuse projects, public realm design, architectural branding, single family homes, hotels, restaurants, workspaces, and bespoke furniture design. We work throughout Texas and across the country in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Denver.Studio Coordinator (Austin, TX)We are seeking a Studio Coordinator to join our Austin office to support the day‑to‑day operations, coordination, and overall experience of our studio. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail‑oriented, and energized by creating thoughtful experiences and operational efficiency within a creative studio environment. This is a full‑time position based in Austin, TX, requiring regular in‑person presence in our office.ResponsibilitiesWelcoming guests and helping manage the day‑to‑day flow of the studio, phones, and incoming communicationCoordinating mail, deliveries, shipments, and office logisticsKeeping office supplies, snacks, kitchen items, and shared spaces organized and stockedTracking administrative expenses and helping manage office‑related budgetsHelping keep the studio clean, organized, and running smoothly day‑to‑dayCoordinating meetings, conference‑room scheduling, client lunches, and other hospitality detailsSupporting scheduling and administrative coordination for leadership and the People Operations teamHelping answer employee questions and support day‑to‑day team needsMaintaining shared digital resources, trackers, and internal systemsCoordinating guest presentations, internal programming from scheduling through setupAssisting with office events, celebrations, team gatherings, and studio engagement activitiesCoordinating with vendors, building management, and maintenance providers as neededSupporting team travel coordination and other administrative logisticsHelping lead employee recognition efforts, including birthdays, anniversaries, and life eventsPartnering with leadership and operations teams to create a welcoming, organized, and thoughtful studio experienceQualificationsPrevious professional experience in office coordination, administrative operations, workplace experience, hospitality, People Operations, or a related roleAbility to work in‑person from our Austin, TX office on a full‑time basisStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and hospitalityStrong attention to detail and follow‑throughDemonstrated ability to take initiative, problem‑solve, and work independently while collaborating closely with a teamExperience coordinating meetings, events, schedules, or office operationsComfort working with digital systems, shared calendars, spreadsheets, and communication platformsPositive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to support a collaborative studio cultureAppreciation for design, hospitality, and contributing to a creative workplace culture#J-18808-Ljbffr
