Mid-Level Architect

ZGF is seeking a Mid-LevelArchitect to join our team in our Seattle office. We are looking for self-directed people who are thoughtful designers with excellent communication and technical skills.

As aMid-LevelArchitect, you will…

Be responsible for generating and developing design ideasDevelop those design ideas into lifeManage and mentor team members from concept design through construction administrationHelp build and maintain relationships with clients and consultants with team leadersPerform architectural assignments with general direction, no immediate supervision, and work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design solutionsAssist in developing design and technical solutions for projects in all phases, including graphics, renderings, physical modeling, and performance metrics for the successful communication of the design goalsProvide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teamsResearch products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentationAssist in the project’s narrative for meeting building performance goals, including metrics, verification, and design integrationContribute to the effective performance of the Project Team regarding project quality, schedule, and budgetContribute to general office-wide initiatives and marketing effortsDemonstrate motivation in seeking new responsibilities and challengesSupervision and mentorship of junior staffQualifications:Communication, leadership, and organizational expertiseDetailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervisionProficient modeling with and leading projects in RevitProficient in Rhino, Sketch-Up, and 3dMaxExperience with complex multi-phased higher education, healthcare and/or commercial development projects, is desiredExperience with energy modeling or daylighting tools is desiredApplicants ought to have a professional Architectural degree with 2- 4 yearsof related experienceLicensed Architects with LEED accreditation are strongly preferredBase Salary Range$74,090 - $86,427 annually depending on skills and experience
