Dereaux Studio is currently seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Architectural Designers and/or Licensed Architects to join our Los Angeles design studio. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical Design Development and Construction Documentation skills, experience coordinating with engineers and consultants, permitting experience, and strong design and visualization skills, with the ability to execute creative ideas across all phases of a project.
Our work is focused primarily on high-end custom residential and hospitality design, and we are particularly interested in candidates with meaningful experience in these project types.
Qualifications
4–8 years of post-graduate professional experience, with at least 3 years in high-end custom residential and/or hospitality designBachelor’s or Master’s degree in ArchitectureStrong Design Development and Construction Documentation skillsStrong design iteration skillsExperience coordinating with engineers and other project consultantsPermitting experienceStrong design and visualization skillsProficiency in Revit is essentialInterest in interiors, with a strong sensibility for color, texture, materiality, and compositionHand sketching and design ideation skills are highly valuedGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsDetail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexibleExperience across the full project lifecycle is valuedArchitectural licensure is a plus

Dereaux Studio is a Los Angeles-based architecture and design practice specializing in high-end residential and hospitality projects. Our studio approaches each project with a strong emphasis on design, materiality, thoughtful detailing, and technical execution.
As a growing practice, we offer the opportunity to work closely across all phases of a project and contribute meaningfully to both the design process and its execution.
This is an in-person/hybrid possible position based in our Los Angeles studio. Salary is commensurate with skill level and experience.
