About The Role

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Interior Designer to join our team! You love to solve problems, think outside the box, and have a deep appreciation for design. This role will lead and contribute to the development and delivery of interior design solutions of various complexities mainly within the workplace and hospitality market sectors, from programming through construction administration. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, optimistic, and brings strong design leadership and technical expertise. You will work independently and collaboratively with Project Managers, Senior Interior Designers, Architects, and the Director of Interior Design, serving as a key client facing representative while mentoring junior team members.

What You’ll Do

Lead interior design concepts, finish palettes, and furniture solutions.Independently collect, interpret, and document client programming requirementsDevelop adjacency diagrams, block plans, and detailed space plans that support operational and design goalsConduct and oversee as built field verifications and integrate findings into project documentationLead the development and coordination of color/material palettes, finish schemes, and material compatibility requirementsDevelop and coordinate construction documents and interior specifications aligned with design intent, technical standards, and regulatory requirementsOversee modifications and updates to construction documents throughout design and construction phasesLead furniture specifications and coordinate with vendors to support pricing, procurement, and installationReview shop drawings and submittals and provide recommendations aligned with design intentParticipate in vendor engagement and stay current with materials, products, and industry trendsServe as a client contact for interior design scope and build strong, effective client relationships.Mentor and support junior designers, promoting professional growth and design excellence

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited program10+ years of commercial interior design experience, including furniture applications; healthcare experience preferredNCIDQ and/or CID certification, or ability to obtainAdvanced proficiency in Revit with strong 3D visualization skillsStrong expertise in space planning, technical documentation, materials, and interior design standardsProven ability to lead creative, functional design solutions for complex projectsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects independently and adapt to evolving requirements
