ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES : Project Engineer Osborne Construction is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our construction company. The Project Engineer works closely with the Project Manager, field team, subcontractors, design professionals, and clients to help maintain project clarity, organization, schedule momentum, and cost control. This position requires the ability to manage multiple moving parts at once, communicate clearly and proactively, and contribute to a high standard of project execution and client service. 2–5 years of experience, with at least 1–2 years in a Project Manager or Project Engineer role.Experience in custom residential construction is preferred; high-performance residential experience is a plus.Ability to read, interpret, and mark up construction drawings and specifications and synthesize into shop drawings for subs, vendors and in-house labor team.Basic estimating and quantity takeoff skills.Working knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and building permitting/inspection processes.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues and help move solutions forward.Ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, field staff, and internal team members.Proficiency in Google Workspace and Bluebeam required; experience with project management and cost tracking tools preferred.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
